LoddiDots is a small, playful web app. This page explains what information it uses and why.
What we collect
- Sign-in details (optional). If you choose to sign in with Google or X, we receive a unique account ID and, depending on the provider, your name and email address. We use these only to recognise you and show who is signed in.
- Your LoddiDots. The names, faces and colors you choose, so they can be saved to your account and shown on your devices.
- Friends, gifts and notes (only if you sign in and use them). A friend code that identifies you to people you share it with, a display name (we start with the first name from your sign-in, and you can change it), your list of friends, and the gifts and short notes you send and receive.
- On your device. Without an account, your LoddiDots are stored only in your browser's local storage on that device.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
- We don't see your Google or X password.
- We don't show your email address or your account details to other users. Your friends can see your display name, your LoddiDots (names, faces and colors), the gifts in your yard, and the gifts and notes you send them. Only people who have your friend code can add you, and you can remove a friend or get a new code at any time.
Who handles the data
Accounts and saved LoddiDots are stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider. Signing in passes through Google or X, which have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
- You can play without an account at any time.
- You can sign out whenever you like. Your LoddiDots stay on that device.
- To have your account and saved LoddiDots deleted, contact us at the address below.
Children
LoddiDots is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
